AE-B (Explorer32) Ion Mass Spectrometer Data

This home page provides access to data from AE-B ion mass spectrometer experiment for the time period from June 9, 1966 to January 17, 1967 in ASCII format. The altitude range covered by the data is 274 to 2840 km. Each measurement cycle includes six density measurements: N+, O+, He+, H+ and again N+, O+. Each data record lists the density and orbit parameters for one specific density measurement. The ASCII data set also contains needed spacecraft position data, IGRF model parameters, and indices.

Time Resolution: about 3.5 minutes
